Very Good

Nice, clean and recently renovated room.

The view from the balcony was the side wall of the building next door. The streaming apps of the tv were blocked. So streaming your own device is ok, but not the tv. Guess to prevent a multitude of guests streaming in the evenings.

Lloret de Mar - the most lively resort and the entertainment capital of Costa Brava, Spain.

ALEGRIA Mariner offers an unforgettable experience, characterized by its hospitality, delicious food. We liked that they answered all the questions sent before arriving at the hotel. I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. I had a clean room on the 6th floor, with a fridge and a large, very comfortable bed. Thank you for the sea view room, gorgeous. Alegria Mariner offers breakfast and dinner, Swedish buffet style in the restaurant. The hotel is close to the promenade and the sandy beach.

Nice clean property, close to the beach, food was fine. Very nice cleaning staff, and those who work at cantina.

Property was fine. However, I would like to point out of the scam! We were lied to by the reception when we booked the taxi service to Barcelona terminal 1. We used the QR code in hotels advertisement stand and got the rates for BCN airport terminal 1, the fare list said 170 eur for the night service it was posted on official site of the taxi company , the reception staff confirmed that they help booking the taxi for us. so we put the deposit with the reception for 20 eur and they said that we pay the rest 150 eur to the taxi driver. When we arrived to the airport the taxi driver said 170 euro and he showed a what’s up chat to us that the rate is 190eur, I think they split the money….,So this is a scam from the hotel reception and a taxi driver. I’m very upset. I think people should book direct with the taxi company and be aware of the unpleasant surprises. Our nice stay was completely ruined by this scam, very unpleasant feeling and I would want others to be aware.

The food was beautiful, hotel and rooms are spotless, excellent location, Staff were super friendly especially Jackie the barmaid she really goes above and beyond to help with any queries or just a friendly chat.

Swimming pool area was mostly shaded, could do with playing some music for abit of an atmosphere

LOVED IT! Very affordable, clean, friendly. Would recommend!!

Just come back from a solo 4-night stay, stayed in room 362. I loved it! Will definitely coming back if I visit Lloret de mar again. CLEANLINESS All areas were kept immaculately clean. Saw the pool being cleaned every morning. Housekeeper came every morning. The poolside was always very clean, ashtrays emptied often, glasses taken away etc. STAFF Staff were friendly, helpful and always seemed to be working hard, nobody stood around doing nothing. HOTEL The layout of the hotel was fantastic. Elevator worked perfectly. Reception area very large with lots of seating. Locked luggage safe cupboard to use. Checkout was 10am but my flight home wasn't until 10pm so they allowed me to still use the hotel facilities to wait (though the do cut off your all-inclusive wrist band). POOL I did not use the pool but sat poolside at least once a day. BAR Good selection of drinks to chose from from the poolside bar (only drinks with a heart next to them were included on the all inclusive - all the others were at a 50% discount for all inclusive guests). LOCATION The location was great. Less than a 5 minute, flat walk to the beach. Main shop/restaurant area was a 10-15 minute, flat, walk away. This hotel is on the quieter, more family focused side of Lloret de mar, the other side being a lot more clubby and loud. DINING ROOM The restaurant was okay, nothing to write home about. Options changed each day with a few staples remaining (pizza, chips, plain pasta etc). Buffet area always kept clean and tidy. Plenty of seating and also a bar within the restaurant. ROOM The room was lovely, the bed very comfy, air con in the room, plenty of lighting, nice bathroom and fully working shower. Bottles of water and some snacks provided as I entered the room. In-room fridge nice and cool. Plenty of room in there for 1-2 people. Overall I loved my stay here and will be coming back :)

BUFFET FOOD TO BE HOTTER I would have liked the buffet food to be hotter. A lot of the time when you sat down to eat it, a lot of it was only luke warm. I would have liked it to be kept hot, or at least the plates warmed. AIR CON NOT COLD ENOUGH The air con in the room can only be set to a min temp of 21. That was fine for the time I stayed there, but at peak summer I can see this being an issue, it was also a little hard to work the thermostat and instructions not very clear. POOL VIEW FROM THE ROAD I did not use the pool during my stay, mainly because of the view from the roadside. People wait outside of the restaurant for transport etc and can see straight in. I would have liked this to be more private, maybe some privacy screening needs to be implemented?

Decidedly underwhelming

Close to the beach. Pool area was nice and never too busy. Staff were friendly.

My room was very small, fine for a day or two but started to feel claustrophobic after that. The view from my balcony was billed as “mountains” but it looked straight into the building next door and never got any sun. The was no kettle, I probably should have asked but I’ve never not had the ability to make myself a coffee in a 4* hotel before. There was very little soundproofing and I could hear everything in room next door. I was offered an upgraded room at the front of the hotel but the cost was double my original room so I declined. All in all some parts of this hotel are lovely but I felt like the poor relation stuck in a little box room so I don’t think I’d make a return visit.

Wonderful

Location was great, staff is very friendly! Clean and very nice hotel!

Overall hotel is great! The only one small minus can be that pool is cold and not heated. Maybe summer time some sun can heat it, but in September water is quite chill. Food can be a little bit more better. But overall is OK.

Lovely stay in Lloret de Mar

The hotel is in great location, literally a minute away from the beach, shops and bars. Room was spacious with a nice view. Breakfast ok but the same every day. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dinner was a disaster, it was literally very little food suitable for me and I'm not a fussy eater. Nothing nice for desert either apart from jelly, yoghurt, rice pudding and mousses. There's literally no insulation in the room you can hear everything from people next door especially if they're laud like ours were. No Wifi whatsoever it was looking to log in every 5 mins and I gave up using it after a few hours. I booked twin room and got double but that didn't bother me that much.

Good stuff for cleaning (every single day) in rest was Okay

Was okay. The restaurants was nearly, beach asa well. From 100 %, 60% was good

The food. Was having a taste but, every single day was the same. If you are talking all including is worse idea. The kitchen is so small for that the food didn’t was variety.

Can’t complaint about the food or rooms. Just lacked a holiday atmosphere in general

Lovely clean rooms , comfortable beds, cleaned daily, friendly and welcoming staff. Right next to the beach .

The pastries and desserts were very samey. Savoury food was great. Lack of atmosphere in the bar at night. Didn’t have a holiday atmosphere. Long walk to the bars at night didn’t feel safe after hours but that’s not the hotels fault

This hotel has an additional building which looks very different, it is inconvenient to walk up the stairs and long walk to the room. The card did not always work to open the door, I had to walk back to the reception for a long time.

It was good but could be better

The hotel was clear. The bed was very huge. The location was perfect for the sea lovers. It was a bit far from the bus station

The stuff was a bit rude. For having a locked safe in your room you should pay like 5 euros per day which was illogical. For getting to our room it always took like 5 mins to het there because inside the hotel it seemed to be like in a labyrinth.
